what names should be in online polls?

Yesterday Rich Miller asked for names of possible Dem challengers to Blagojevich.

I am going to create two Condorcet polls for potential gubernatorial candidates: one Dem, one Republican. Who should be included in the polls?

Here's the names that got mentioned in the Capitol Fax discussion of Dems:
Dorothy Brown
Dick Devine
Jack Franks
John Fritchey
Lauren Beth Gash
Dan Hynes
Lisa Madigan
David Orr
Glenn Poshard
Corrinne Wood
Karen Yarbrough
Who shouldn't be included in the poll? If you have a persuasive reason please explain it.

Who isn't on this list, but should be included? Roland Burris? Luis Gutierrez? Again, please explain.

Same deal for the GOP. Here's the starting point list:
Bill Brady
Joe Birkett
Peter Fitzgerald
Ron Gidwitz
Ray LaHood
Tom McCracken
Jim Oberweis
Pat O'Malley
Steve Rauschenberger
Dan Rutherford
Judy Baar Topinka
Who should be added? Corrinne Wood? Mark Kirk? Who should be removed?

Here's a request to remove Corinne Wood from the Democrats list. She's still a Republican, even if the GOP doesn't want her. Moreover, some Dems are still sore about her appeal for crossover votes in the 1998 primary.

Without some better indication from her that she is switching parties, she shouldn't be on the Dem list.

I have Corrinne Wood's phone number, so I'll ask her if she wants to be removed from the Dem poll. How's that?

Carl, a fine solution for Corinne. It would be intriguing if she agreed to have her name floated as a Dem.

I spoke to a man at Corrinne Wood's home who I presume was her husband. He indicated that she might not be home until it was too late to return the call and then she would be out-of-town for ten days.

I'm gonna put her in the poll. If you want to rank her below Blagojevich you can.

Blago is a disaster in the making. He will lose if the gop puts up a quality candidate. That means leaving DuPage County out of it. Birkett is just too tangled up in the Nicarico prosecution disgrace to win. He'll be deservedly slimed constantly with it.
But do the Dems want a repeat of years ago when it was necessary to get rid of Dan Walker? Walker was a disaster as gov. Mike Howlett did the deed for Daley sr., but lost in the general to Thompson.
Lauren Beth Gash won't run.Her last name is nothing less than a setup for crude jokes!
Dorothy Brown has no chance. She's just a female version of Roland Burris, a hack pol who got somewhere because of their race, but has nothing to say.
The name left out is John Schmidt. He would be a great candidate, and governor for that matter. But would he have the stomach for another run after losing to Madigan and daughter.

I say add Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn because even if he stays stealth now, he has to know the Blago people have encouraged Tom Hynes & Glenn Poshard to challenge him for his seat. Quinn has been on the forefront of many issues. He's a maverick who could jump in at the last moment, especially if theres a third challenger, and run up the middle. Most of all, Quinn wants to be Governor more than anything.
